And the topic is where I’d like to go….before I got trapped interested in K-Dramas, I had always wanted to go to Japan but the cost is too expensive, so I said to hubby, if I get cancer, you must bring me to Japan! (actually if I don’t keep going to the same place like Downunder & Hong Kong, and of course my obsession with my bags…I should have enough to go to Japan la…kakakaka) But thanks to Angie (muaks) she found out that my dah-ling Hyun Bin has a new drama out, I wanna go to Korea right now! It was initially in my plan to go to Korea this year but somehow have to scrap because of Downunder trip…(piggy are you like so mega touched and feeling so special now????)

I would like to go to all the places where they filmed all my favourite dramas, esp. Kim Sam Soon! e.g.eating at the restaurant where most of the important & juicy scenes were made, take the cable car ride in Nam San where they had their first fight, or maybe bump into Hyun Bin (I even day dreamed about this ok, and of course in my dream I was speaking broken Korean to him!)…ok I’m mad, so what? It’s my fantasy wat!

Yes Amah went shopping again. Big time shopping and out of the blue. Was on my way to church to drop my invoice and it so happened Mattel had a warehouse sale next to it! No wonder so jammed la like 10 in the morning! Wah thank goodness member has its priviledges, I parked the car in the church and dropped Kylie and maid there while I walked over to the sale.

The sale was so so, ok so so also bought so much, no lar bought for future birthday, christmas pressies ma…hahahaa..

Bought this for Kieran and it was so cute lor. Usually the superhero suits are like u know normal clothes with the pattern but this one is really amazing, it comes with muscle definition and a fan that can blow up the suit to make him look like very big sized! Ahhhhh..my superhero…

Following a post from Tracy, it reminded me of an experience with my friend. She was an ex colleague from my first job. She’s kinda introvert type and even though we went our separate ways to different jobs, I’ve maintained contact with her. She’s single and living alone so I thought I should call her and check on her once in a while la. Then one day we decided to plan a trip to China way back in March 2003.

I checked out the temperature and told her it was going to be cold so be prepared. But she has to go with just a cotton tiny little jacket. The moment we arrived at Pudong Airport it was like below 10degC ok! She was shivering and jumping and I told her I only brought enough for myself so can’t help her!

The moment we reached Hang Zhao (took a bus from Pudong Airport), I wanted to just check in the nearest hotel but she wanted to go enquire one by one to check on the price…ayo…and she was the freezing one. Anyway, we managed to catch a meal and checked in and immediately went out shopping as she really desperately needs something warmer. Shopping with her was a nightmare too as she ponders on it for sooooooo long even for something so cheap. Then she was looking at this windbreaker, it was like RMB10 ok! I had to rub my eyes and then re-confirm with sales girl that it was like RMB10 as in RMBTen only, meaning it was like RM5.00 ok ! FIVE FREAKING RINGGIT! I was like, errr..what the F was she waiting for? Buy la. Wear ledi buang in the bin or donate to some street person la! I stress again, I was warm in my winter jacket so I can afford to F around but she CAN’T cos she’s bloody freaking freezing ok! Finally I got quite mad and told her to either buy it or leave cos even though I was warm and cozy I wanted to see other things. So she bought it! HALLELUJAH!

The whole trip was a torture from then on as she was always miserable and not wanting to part with her money, ayo liddat how to holiday la? Eh I’m talking about CHINA, what can be so expensive in CHINA? NOTHING OK! Biggest mistake was to go on this trip on a free & easy holiday without pre-booked hotels.

Then she pissed me off in Suzhao when she befriended a local China girl who was also touring. She invited her to stay with us for the night to save more $$ on the hotel room! I was like WTF?! How can she just simply trust her, sekali get friends over to gang rape us (maybe just me cos I definitely look better than her) or rob us (me again cos I have more cash!) how? Firstly they wanted to stay in this crummy place so I said fine, you stay here I stay there (another nicer looking hotel) which doesn’t cost so much anyway. Wah, so dem smart, fast fast change mind and said join me. Ok turned out the girl was ok but still I didn’t have peace of mind and slept with my money in my pants!

Then at Nanjing she totally pissed me off as she didn’t want to eat! I was like what? I have to eat leh…it’s cold…please…and she said I can eat and she will sit with me! HUH? How do you expect me to eat while she’s looking at me leh? F la…so I just bought some crummy corn in a cup to eat. Ah now I remember she didn’t want to eat when we were in HangZhao so I told her I will buy her lunch, then only she ate…So of course cannot always I buy she eat rite? WTF..The hotel in Nanjing, another story, she didn’t want to stay in hotel cos she said too expensive (again I stress,,,RM150 somemore divide by 2 of us, not expensive wat!) and sulked. So I told her I have to stay and since she paid for the hotel in HangZhao which was cheaper, I will pay for this in Nanjing although more expensive. You know what she said? She wants me to reimburse her the difference! Can you beat that???

The best time we had was in Shanghai as we didn’t need to pay a single sen as we stayed with my university mate, so he offered us place to stay plus belanja us meals somemore! Well, she is of course the happiest camper la! When I suggest we should buy the drinking water to replenish his, she said no need la, I don’t drink so much also! AYOOOO!!! Beh tahan, I bought anyway without her contribution.

Then I had to go down to Hong Kong and that’s where we parted our ways. GOOD RIDDANCE! I said, I was leaving, meaning she can’t stay with my friend la! So she got to get her butt out and she’s on her own for the next few days. I dare not think what and where about her.

We met again to exchange some photos (yes it was analogue age) and again she insisted I pay her the Nanjing Hotel difference as she didn’t want to stay in a hotel so expensive! I was like, so shocked, I Should be the one asking for the difference as the hotel she paid for was cheaper!!! How come she’s asking me to pay her the difference?????? So that’s the final curtain, and I told her we cannot be friends anymore as she’s totally impossible and I walked away and never turned back!

I do think about her once in a while, thinking was I too hard, or maybe I should have just paid her and forget about everything…I don’t know..WHAT DO YOU THINK???

So FOLKS…beware..don’t park in place which belongs to people and don’t block people’s car ok!

The first time I tasted it was like 8 - 9 years ago when a friend brought the paste back from Kuching. It tasted really good! But since then we have lost contact with this friend (silly me) and thus no chance of importing the laksa paste!

However thanks to blogging, I met a pretty mama who hails from Sarawak, so when she went back for CNY, mua fast fast ask her to help me buy some back la!

So today I decided to make the laksa, dropped by the wet market to get some stuff to go with the laksa but forgot the santan (coconut milk). So when Angie was helping me supervise the maid she told me to get the santan while I was still outside. I stopped at the nearest provision store on my way back only to realise I didn’t bring my purse and the coin box in the car was like kinda bankrupt at that moment too…so got to go back to the office and take money and go out again to buy the darn santan. Wah…the trouble I went through for this was duly paid off with the delicious laksa…yummmmmm..I still have 2 more packets, who wants???? Make appointment la!

Last Friday while sending my son to school, there was this @$£&$^ Iswara that cut into my lane. This road is prone to such buggers who refuse to queue up like any civilised driver but choose to cut queue. There used to be cops catching them but it has been a while since I last saw the cops around. So? They start cutting queue again la!

Then a Kenari cut in front of this Iswara…..and so on and so forth…that’s why traffic jam la! Shiaks!

Ok back to more happy things over the weekend..Went to Karaoke session with our dear Wendy before she went back to London today. We really had a good time, especially me la cos long time haven’t been to karaoke ma…we actually stayed on until the closing time which was 4 a.m.! Warao! By the time I reached home and went to bed it was 5 a.m.! Crazy leh!  Wendy is really fun to be with and we hope she can come back again next year!

Then Sunday we had another gatblogger mummy gathering as Julian and family were in town. Please refer to here for more photos but only kids lor..kakakaka… We really had a good time at KLCC and after the gathering, we went shopping and of  course Amah very “tai sau wok” (bought a lot) as usual. So Apah made this stupid comment;

Apah-Sigh..just go out only spent RM300+, RM100 to petrol, RM100 to lunch and RM100 to groceries..

I then gave him my killer laser stare…

Apah-Err..wah but cannot compare to mummy la…one receipt already RM300+…

I was very tired and didn’t have strength to taruh (shoot) him back so just gave him another killer laser stare with added voltage…so he immediately changed the subject!

Yes I’m a sucker for lomatic dramas but who cannot be when it comes to Keanu Reeves and of course my Korean dramas?? Ok la..except for all you MLLs (straight men) out there la. He’s sooooo cute lor….and ok this movie was like quite dumbo one also..but I can forgive the dumboness because this show made me so lummmmmmmm-ded! It’s like, how can someone fall in love with another with just some notes and letters here and there and no pictures exchanged..and like come on…be it year 2004 or 2006, eh how come still run here and there and drop notes one? No internet connection one ah? Dumbo right? But…..after seeing Keanu….all forgotten leow! Especially the ending of the show, I was like OMG…he died!!! But of course there was a twist and he turned out alive and they finally met (despite the fact that they were supposed to living 2 years apart! blech..) and the moment they embraced each other was the most lummm-ded part…that can make u like weak in the knees….and go awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww…….ok ok…so dumbo…BUT I LIKE! Blueeekkkkk..

He was pretending to surfing on the toy ironing board! Yes it was an ironing board but they broke it! 

Wow! Wow! Wow! I was so proud of him when I saw his test papers! All above 90%! I was like expecting like failed some and like maybe just passed…(so negative hor..) but then my happiness was short lived cos daddy said he copied his friend! I was like what??!! Then we asked him which one, but he said he only copied like 2 - 3 pages only! Ayo! Then I was checking through his paper, there was one question which he answered wrongly but the teacher didn’t realise it! Wah that shows how cincai (careless) the teachers are! Meaning, no need to get too and over excited over his results la!

Another thing that made me proud of him was he came back with the RM1 that I gave him. I told him to use the RM1 to buy a soya drink for his lunch. He came back and told me that there was no soya drink as in the fresh ones, only canned ones so he didn’t buy. The key was, he didn’t simply use the money on other nonsense lor! Wow..for once he was so good! Ok la…he can be good at times but most of the time ah hem……or maybe it’s just me being too strict with him..dunno la.

Yesterday I bought a book called “Discipline with Love”. It was like the thinnest one on the shelf in that category, so hopefully I can finish reading it by next week ah…I totally believe in discipline and also using the cane. Not because I’m abusive but because I love him so much…so meaning I can’t live in New Zealand as I heard it’s against the law for hitting your child! Don’t know how true it was…

Wow.. 2 more months to Kylie’s 2nd birthday! Time flies! My baby has become a toddler leow! She was trying to put on her pants in the above picture but of course not successful la..

She’s a very hyper active and fearless adventurous little girl. She can’t sit still even during meal time. I try not to continue feeding her when she roams around but when I’m not around, the maid will feed her by following her everywhere! Rascal! She loves music and dances each time we turn on the music or when I sing to her. She is able to learn hand actions to the songs very easily but not words.. However, she managed to learn a few new words last week.

She throws tantrums when she doesn’t get her way by screaming and wailing. She occasionally lies down on the floor and start turning around too, refer to video!

I started to smack her since I know she actually understands if she’s done wrong. She is able to show me a guilty look when I reprimand her. She will smack me back too!

There was this time when daddy was busy installing the furniture, lil assistant wanted so much to disturb help.
