It was a pretty normal and wet weekend we had. As usual I sent Kieran to music school on Saturday morning and sit at customer’s place till they pay me visited a customer while waiting for him. There was a car wash facility outside my customer’s shop so I had my car washed at the same time. (Maid too lazy busy to do that!) Customer paid me of course and we created small talk la…and then it was time to go and as I was leaving…plip plop plip plop dollops of rain started to fall! Drats! I just had the car washed la!

After picking Kieran up went to another customer’s place to send some goods and then off to Tesco again! It’s either Tesco or Ikea hor?? hahaha…weekly groceries ma…We ate at Chicken Rice Shop and didn’t realise we were sitting next to someone familiar looking…another customer eating with his family. Kieran started looking over after I said hello and said this..

K-How come they have so much food and we have so little?

Me-Shhhh…no manners…they have more people ma, if I ordered so much you can finish eating or not?

Upon reaching home, we had to clear the car immediately and store the stuff I bought as we had to go to a birthday party at Sg Long! Yes Bandar Sg Long as in the Sg Long near Kajang! At the beginning I already drafted the route to Apah but of course Apah being Apah had to miss the first turn and our nightmare began… we somehow took the wrong turn and ended in Kajang Silk where there were toll after toll and we ended up paying RM7 and one hour to reach our destination! AYoooo..so when we went back I drove and of course we paid half the toll but the travelling time was almost one hour..

The birthday cake had a Hello Kitty picture and it was so beautiful! I don’t think I can reach that standard la…they had the McDonalds Birthday Party team over their place but there were not many parents involved in the games so Apah and Kieran sapu most of the gifts la! hahahahaha…

Sunday was as usual church and then to shopping again! Ayo this mega sale is really taking a toll on my pocket. By the time it ends it’s almost the next sale season again! We went One Utama. We have this One Card which allows us to park at the priviledge parking just RM1 more than the normal parking but little did we know that we must have a MINIMUM VALUE of RM5 in the card before you can enter the parking using that card. Apah kept inserting the card and it kept rejecting it without telling us anything. So we had no choice but to take the ticket and park at the normal parking space. However, after rounding about 15 minutes, Apah dropped us and continued circling and I think it took him 45 minutes before he finally found one!!!! FREAKING CRAZY isn’t it? We had late lunch because of that but thank God we were quite stuffed from breakfast and the kids had snacks in Sunday School.

We ended Sunday with dinner at Apah’s parents’. Apah’s twin brother & family had moved out of Msia due to a job posting so they had no cousins to play with. So Kieran monopolised the toys and even squeezed in the toy car which was meant for his cousin’s size!

Here’s wishing Apoh a very Happy & Blessed Birthday today! Not that she will read this but really I’ve not really wished her Happy Birthday properly….well I guess it’s just that my relationship with her has not been always like you know to the extent that I can like hug her and plant a birthday kiss on her cheek that kind lor…

I initially wanted to bring her to watch the King n I musical but then it will only be me going with her since the tickets are so expensive, so I thot it was going to be torturous boring, so I didn’t suggest lor. Bad la me!

So how? Just dinner with the family tonight la. I brought the kids to her wish her this morning and I tried to teach Kylie to say Happy Birthday to Apoh but of course didn’t succeed la! So only Kieran wished her…but the moment she saw the kids I know that’s the best present to her!

But today during lunch I came across this which I hardly see it for sale. It was like fresh from the steamer and piping hot when served so it was really yummy and I packed it for mom as a snack.

I had a good and productive Saturday, early in the morning catch up on my TVB serials, then see a customer and con sold him something in the process. Then zoomed Kieran to his music class and then went to see another customer and also managed to con sell him something also. Then I rushed back to pick Kieran up and we stopped over Tesco to buy some groceries. Bought some black soil too. Do you all know that black soil is the cheapest in Tesco, cheaper than Sg Buloh! So next time if you need black soil, please get from Tesco. (Nope, I’m not sponsored by Tesco!!)

Then we headed back and it was still drizzling. The moment I reached home, I continued to boil watch my TVB serials as I was too lazy to do anything else, e.g. baking (which I told Angie I would bake something over the weekend). When the rain stopped, Kieran reminded me about planting the vege seeds we bought some time ago!

So I reluctantly quickly got up from my couch potato postion and began planting the seeds while the kids play with the sand the contractor left in my car driveway. I labeled on the pots so that I don’t get mixed up which is which. They were long beans, kacang botol (neh the one you fry with belacan) and lady’s fingers.

K- Mum, when the plant grows we can eat the beans?

M-Yes

K-Cool!

On Sunday, we went to Ikea after church, YES….you read it right, I went to Ikea again! And totally forgot to go to Nomadic Mom’s son’s birthday party. *head hangs low in shame* Kieran asked what happened to my brains but you know how I retaliated back? Well I used his school work to attack him lor, I told him since he always claims that he doesn’t know Chinese, then there must be something wrong with his brains too! Bad hor me? I felt guilty and that was it!

Parent-Grandma-Teacher Meet

Today Apoh made me drive her to Kieran’s school to see his teachers. I was reluctant but had to do it as she has been bugging me for quite some time. Weyo? Her precious grandchild, aka my son, Kieran has been getting beating from the teachers. Apoh will ask Kieran each day whether he received any beating from his teachers and Kieran usually proudly admits YES and like from a few teachers too!

According to his form teacher, Kieran is always fighting with his friends and he beats them up (did he inherit this from me ah? I used to beat up boys when I was in kindy and I think up to Standard 2!). He doesn’t pay attention and likes to talk a lot (just like me again….but Apah oso la) and due to that, he usually isn’t able to copy his homework from the whiteboard. I tried to tell her that I’m ok with him not being able to finish the homework or even failing his exams but she said if she doesn’t reprimand him then that will affect the other students. True also lor. Apoh kept asking them to get just one teacher to beat him instead of so many but that is impossible la! Apoh also said that she felt heartsick that her precious grandchild had to go through this but I reckon he should go through this in order to groom him for the future. I don’t want my son to be overprotected till he become one “khuan keuk chai” (skirt leg boy, in other words some useless mia man la).

At the end of the meeting, we couldn’t even reach to any conclusion or able to come up with any solutions lor. The teacher said she has even used the call the police method and coincidentally a police officer did come to the school and the boys were scared but they were only good for the next 3 days only! Die or not??? HELP!!!!

As predicted by a number of people, I was at the Ikea Sale first thing in the morning! This time I didn’t go so early judging from the previous sale, there were not that many people so I only went at about 9.30a.m. Some of you may exclaim by now..”9.30a.m. not so early? Gila ah?” Yes not early cos the last time I went there around 7.30a.m.! OK!

Since I was still early and the store was not open yet, I went for breakfast at their cafetaria. Hey their breakfast is not bad wor, for RM1.04 (incl.tax) you get a descent sized and good tasting nasi lemak and free drink. Not bad at all! Kylie had a doughnut (but she didn’t finish it la cos it was like so huge!) while me and the maid chomped away on the nasi lemak.

Then when the store was opened, Amah fast fast went downstairs to grab the sofa which was on more half price offer. Was running around like a mad woman and as you know there are not many yellow t-shirt wearing people around to serve you. When I finally managed to find one he has no freaking idea which sofa I was talking about. I had no choice but to run to the cashier and they told me I have to order it upstairs in the sofa section!! AYO! Do you know how far is that place from the cashier? No choice…ran la! There were of course limited units and I managed to secure one.

After that, I went straight to the ground floor again and started sweeping things into my trolley! And slowly it became trolleys! As usual Amah very terrer one, one person can push 2 trolleys one…and maid pushed one la.

Our lil fren who had to come along as Apoh was busy really had some fun but after a while she got bored and made a fuss!

Then I saw this candle dish (incidentally red in colour!) and put it on my left arm which was holding like a lot of stuff ledi (trolley not near me that time) so it slipped and “piling palang lok dei hoi far” (fell and cracked on the floor la)! The shoppers around me turned to me and all went “wooooooooo…….” In the process, the glass piece cut my leg and it was bleeding for a while so I had to sit down to place the tissue on the wound to stop it from bleeding!

Yes u can see the trolley was overloaded and our lil fren has not much space to move!

So Amah gila gila sapu stuff forgot we have passed lunch time! So Kylie have to settle with the ice cream! This time since I was injured, I didn’t want to be hero and load everything in my car, I called Angie for SOS and she sent our office boy to come with the pick up truck to save me! He delivered everything to mom’s place so I still have to bring most of the stuff back to my place so that was my car filled to the max!

Wah this Amah also can be considered rockin’ girl blogger meh? GIRL wor??? But this cute lil girl was so kind and nice to consider me lor…thanks & muaks! Me soooo gammmm dunnnngggg…(touched).

So, why did this leng lui think I rock leh? Maybe bcos I dare to say that I poot poot in public lor! Or maybe bcos I dare to molest sayang even the patungs (wax figures)?? Or maybe bcos I eat a lot and shop a lot and scold a lot…ok ok scold doesn’t rock but when I scold you sure ROCK! Muahahahahhaha…

Anyway, I am supposed to elect the next 5 gals whom I think they rock….wah a very difficult task indeed cos all my friends sure rock la…cos I ROCK ma! (thick skin nya…). So, if I didn’t include you, doesn’t mean you don’t rock but I need to allow the others a chance to choose you ma…

Just a few days ago, the kids were as usual monkeying around the office. As usual, kor kor was bullying mei mei. Both of them were trying to fight over the space for the computer and we have the roller swivel chairs (quite dangerous for kids) and mei mei mamaged to struggle and wriggle onto the chair with advantage from her size compared to kor kor. But kor kor did not admit defeat so he pulled the chair back while mei mei had her hands on the table and feet on the chair thus causing mei mei to fall flat onto the floor! It was quite a loud thud and led to waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…….. I immediately came to the rescue and of course gave kor kor a good spanking!

While in the car on the way to school I gave him a lecture about what he did (not the first time….sigh) and he seemed to understand but just couldn’t control his actions! But when I came back to the office, Angie passed me a note that Kieran wrote earlier and left it on my desk.

It says “I am so sorry kylie and mummy : so do you for give me. Kieran“

When I say he’s naughty and difficult to handle but he does things like this! How la? But then again, cannot also, if you go and do something wrong or anything against the law, then stand in front of the judge and say this can ah? Yes can forgive but must punish also! Go to jail, do not pass go!

In another day, as usual Kylie hangs around the office and as usual creates a mess and disturbs my staff occasionally. So there was once, we were doing our own thing and didn’t realise where she was until Angie asked me where she was. We went around looking for her and found her here!

She was reaching out to the biscuits that Auntie Angie bought from Penang…and quietly munching on them!

Oops! Caught in the act!

Have you guys n gals ever accidentally be it intentional or unintentional farted let out gas in public? I don’t know, I reckon it’s a very natural thing that can happen to anyone as I have done it before and I have actually heard and smelled someone else’s gas lor! So is it something to scorn at and laugh at? Why am I touching on this so yucky or supposedly disgusting act leh?

Cos Amah was caught in the act lor! I was in a public toilet and unfortunately there were only 2 cubicles available and both were squatting toilets! I hate squatting toilets but no choice and I really had to pee! So as I eh hemm…went into the position of ne ne ne ne…I accidentally let out eh hemm….POOT! POOT! And POOT! again…and POOT! again! Oopsidaisieee…and then I heard someone outside saying this, “Ewww…” in a disgusted tone. Initially I thought to myself, so embarassing la, caught in doing the most natural thing in the world but was supposed to be done in your own private space where no one can hear or smell what you just emitted, isn’t the toilet cubicle private enough? So what’s so “Ewww…” about that?

So what do you think? I don’t think that it’s worth of that “Ewww…” remark lor. I always have this natural emission of gas especially after a meal and when I’m in an airplane! But of course no smell one la…errr…somehow I know when it’s going to be smelly and not smelly lor…don’t ask me how I know, I JUST KNOW! BLUEKKKKKKKKKKK!

We have to be careful with automatic gates, despite the low speed they open and close this could happen too when the person who’s controlling it is stupud careless!

Apah was controlling the gate, so when he opened it, he didn’t allow the gate to open in full and stopped it suddenly and poor Kieran was caught unaware so he ran right into the gate! Ok, both also wrong, one shouldn’t open gate halfway and the other shouldn’t run la! But the open gate halfway more stupud naughty right? Anyway, the bump arose like in seconds and it was humongus! I quickly asked the maid to boil an egg and after rolling the hot egg over the bump it quickly subsided. When I gave the instructions to boil the egg, the stupuded gate controller said ice was better. Yes la..ice better but my egg method brought the bump down so fast k!

In an unrelated incident…

Cute leh! Do you notice it’s an ASIAN doll? And do you realise we only have blonde & blue eyed dolls sold in the stores here? We are Asians ma, how come they only make blonde dolls leh? Anyway, this doll belongs to my mom’s good friend’s granddaughter who came back from the US for holidays. I found it so cute, I couldn’t resist taking a picture. They actually got this doll from the US! Duh!!!!!!!!! This Asian doll has all the features of an Asian, ie the doe eyes, flat nose & small mouth… So cute lor!

Aiya! Dai kat lai si lor! Choy! Choy! Ok Ok I’m not so superstitious one..just kidding…Just kena tagged again! This mummy long time never come to my blog, come only tag me! Ayoo!

Anyway, Angie once said that the plants from Ikea will not survive upon reaching your home. But thank goodness mine not only survived but grew & bloomed very well! However, some of my plants which I bought from Sg Buloh died-ded on me! Sobs…
